Jack Coe (1921–1956) was an American Christian evangelist known for his healing ministry during the mid-20th century. He gained prominence during the Pentecostal healing revival period, particularly in the 1940s and 1950s. Coe was a key figure in the post-World War II healing revival movement, which saw many evangelists traveling across the United States holding healing crusades and attracting large crowds.
He was known for his bold, dynamic style of preaching and was often associated with dramatic healing services where people were purportedly healed of various ailments through prayer. Coe’s ministry attracted a lot of attention, both positive and negative, with many praising his passionate approach, while others criticized the sensational nature of his claims and his sometimes controversial methods.
Despite his relatively short life and ministry, Jack Coe’s impact on the charismatic and Pentecostal movements of his time was significant.
