When Jesus was on the earth, He continually pointed back to where people’s faith after He healed or performed a miracle for them. It is clear to see that Jesus was measuring everyone’s faith. This reveals to us that faith can be measured, and God is measuring everyone according to their level of faith. I will reveal in this chapter, the Ten Levels of Faith and how God is measuring everyone’s faith by these levels.
We know that Jesus is the Author or Originator of our faith, which means everyone starts with no faith. Faith is something that has to be created inside someone. The Bible says that faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God, which is reference to someone hearing the Word of God preached. When someone hears the Gospel being preached, they can choose to believe or not. With this in mind, when Jesus started preaching the Gospel, He originated faith in the hearts of those who heard Him. Jesus was the first faith preacher.
God revealed to me the Ten Levels of Faith from the Scriptures by the Holy Spirit. Once my eyes were opened to these Ten Levels of Faith, I was instantly changed. I was able to measure myself and see where I was at. The truth that God measures people by their faith was hidden in plain sight but can be found throughout the Bible. Once you see this revelation, your eyes will also be opened, and you will be able to measure yourself by these ten levels. By measuring yourself you can work on your faith. God gives us a measure of faith, but our responsibility is to grow that measure.
Romans 12:3 (KJV)
3 For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.
Here are The Ten Levels of Faith revealed in the Scriptures:
- No Faith
- Dead Faith
- Weak Faith
- Little Faith
- Slow Faith
- Faith
- Great Faith
- Strong Faith
- Most Holy Faith
- Perfect Faith
By studying each of these levels of faith, you can learn what Jesus saw or didn’t see in regards to people’s faith. The Bible says that without faith, we cannot please God, therefore, if you want to please God, you should aim to have perfected faith. The reason you go through trials is for your faith to grow. God is looking to perfect your faith and make you strong and powerful in what you believe. Your faith is what will be found to give praise, honor and glory to Jesus when He appears.
1 Peter 1:7-9 (KJV)
7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ: 8 Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory: 9 Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.
